Everyone loves peanuts, although due to some health conditions it cannot be consumed because it can cause serious allergic reactions, but peanut is both delicious and nutritious and can be eaten raw and is found in many products like cooking oil that is peanut oil.

 

Peanut oil also known as groundnut oil is a vegetable oil derived from peanuts. Peanut oil has a high smoke point so it is mostly used for frying especially in Chinese and Asian cuisines. Peanut oil contains saturated fat, vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin E, protein, monounsaturated fat and polyunsaturated fat. It is one of the healthiest vegetable oil that is cholesterol free and trans fat free also a good a source of vitamin E, antioxidants and phytosterols which is essential for a healthy heart.

 

Peanut oil is obtained from pressing peanut kernels, peanuts are said to have been originated in Central America but is now cultivated all over the world. Peanut oil contains Resveratrol which protects the body from viral or fungal infections, Alzheimer’s disease, degenerative nerve disease and stroke.

 

Peanut Oil Allergy

 

Peanut oil allergy, is a hypersensitivity response to the nuts in many people, when food is prepared with the oil. Some of these symptoms include chest congestion, abdominal pain, vomiting, swelling of the lips, difficulty breathing and sometimes death. Studies have shown that refined peanut oil does not cause any hypersensitive reactions. Refined peanut oil is a high stable allergen free and trans fat free cooking oil with a pleasant flavour.

 

Peanut oil is used to make medicine and is commonly applied externally to cure eczema, dry skin and other skin disorders that cause scaling. The oil is used for the treatment of constipation and is used as an ingredient in baby care products too.

 

Peanut oil is used for massaging and this in turn helps to get rid of joint pains, improves blood circulation, lowers high blood pressure, an excellent remedy to cure all digestive problems like diarrhea, it even builds body muscles, peanut oil can also be used to smooth the lips by massaging it with the oil and leave on for a few minutes and can be left longer for best results.
