Ugli, the name of this fruit will turn many people away from it, but is actually sweet on the inside. A member of the citrus family, ugli fruit is an essential source of vitamins, minerals and powerful anti-oxidants.


Originated in Jamaica in the 19th century and is still popularly grown today, a fruit that is really ugly, it is green and wrinkled until it ripes and is easily peeled and can be done with the hands.
