Tiger nuts, also known as earth almond and zulu nuts are a tuber that grows below the ground’s surface just like potatoes with the same benefits as nuts. A member of the Cyperus family it is an excellent source of fiber, these nuts come from California, Europe, Northern African, and even Florida and have been around for over 4,000 years.
