Soybean oil is a vegetable oil extracted from soybean seeds and is one of the most consumed oil it is used for cooking, baking, salad dressing and frying.


Choosing soybean oil is a healthy way to go and is also a dieticians favorite. Soybean oil is an excellent source of antioxidants which helps in the prevention of many health conditions. This useful oil is not only used for cooking but is used to make many other products like crayons, inks and paints.


Soybean oil is very high in protein and is also an ingredient in livestock feed for animals and is also made into human products for consumption like margarine, tofu, soy milk, soy flour, mayonnaise other foods that contains soy bean oil are breads, cookies, cakes, pies, cookies and crackers.


Soybean oil is enriched with vitamin K, vitamin E, fatty acids like linoleic acid, palmitic acid, stearic acid, oleic acid and many more. It is a low source of saturated fat and high in monounsaturated and polyunsaturated fats, and is rich in omega-3 fatty acid and contains no cholesterol, sodium, carbohydrates and fiber.


Soybean oil is processed by cracking the soybeans and is then heated to remove unwanted moisture, the beans are then sliced and rolled to remove the oil.


Soybean is native to East Asia and the oil is known to reduce the risk of Alzheimer’s disease, lowers the risk of many types of cancers like breast cancer, protects the heart from diseases, reduce the symptoms of menopause in women like “hot flashes” and reduces the risk of diabetes.


Soybean oil is definitely the one to have as a part of your daily use, it is healthy and thus protect the body from many health conditions.
